GOCPS UPDATES
THE CPS HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION WILL BE LIVE SOON!
The fall application period will open on Wednesday September 14, 2022, and close on Friday, December 2,2022 at 5:00pm. During this period, visit go.cps.edu. To apply using the online application site, click ‘Log In’ to access your account. (If you have not yet created an account, click ‘Sign Up.’) You can apply to up to 20 Choice Programs and up to 6 Selective Enrollment programs. You will rank your school/program choices in the order of your preference.
You will schedule appointments for any admissions screenings that may be required for the schools/programs to which you want to apply. If you apply to a school/program and your child does not participate in the required admissions screening, they will not be considered in the selection process for that school/program.

The CPS High School Admissions Test will be available to all current CPS students applying to ninth grade on October 26, 2022.
The CPS HS Admissions Test for ninth-grade applicants will be administered in the fall.
- CPS students will take the exam on/during the school day on OCTOBER 26, 2022
- Non-CPS students will take the exam on weekends at designated CPS test sites.
Using one test will streamline the GoCPS application process by eliminating minimum eligibility requirements, decreasing the number of exams required, and allowing the same single exam to be applied to the selection processes for all programs, where applicable.
