Welcome Back, Students!

I am so excited to start another year with all of you as your school counselor! This year, we will focus on your personal growth and work together to achieve your academic, social-emotional, and college/career goals. I’ve developed a Comprehensive School Counseling Program that includes:

• Tier 1: Whole-group lessons and activities

• Tier 2: Small group programs like Rainbows and SS GRIN

• Tier 3: Individual counseling

We will be using a variety of tools and programs to help you succeed, including Schoolinks, Success Bound, and Second Step, along with an exciting new curriculum from the Department of Student Protections on anti-bullying behavior. I'll also be teaming up with your specials and subject area teachers to ensure you have the support you need throughout the year.

Additionally, we’ll continue to build our skills in Peer Conferences to promote conflict resolution and restorative justice. These skills will help us work together to solve problems, build positive relationships, and create a supportive school community.
