Hello and welcome. My name is Ms. Reed, and this is my ninth year teaching at Ryder Math and Science Specialty School. I know this is going to be a great school year for all of us to grow and learn together.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Chicago State University. I continued my passion for teaching by taking graduate courses at the University of Illinois-Chicago. I have been teaching in Chicago Public Schools for 24 years.
I believe it is important that every one of my students receives the best educational experience possible. Each and everyone of our children have the capacity to learn. I can’t do this alone unless I have the support, feedback, and collaboration from parents, classroom assistants, and other staff members.
My Interests: volunteering in the church and community (Girl Scouts), watching live performances and movies, reading, cooking, and traveling
